Character Attributes and Stats
As you play the game and start to level up, you will gain attribute points that you'll be able to assign to four primary attributes: Strength, Agility, Armour and Toughness. These choices actually do matter when playing and we will cover that below.
Strength increases your piercing armour penetration as well as slashing and blunt damage by 6 points.
Agility increases your piercing damage as well as slashing and blunt penetration by 6 points.
Armour increases your overall defense against piercing, slashing and blunt armor penetration by 3 points.
Toughness increases your maximum health by 100 per point spent.
Piercing Damage is damage relative to any thrust attack of most melee weapons, but basically spears and ranged weaponry.
Slashing Damage is damage relative to any cutting/swiping attack of most melee weapons.
Blunt Damage is damage relative to any attack that involves kicking, shield-bashing or bashing with the grip.
Piercing Armour Penetration is your ability for your piercing attacks to break piercing defense.
Slashing Armour Penetration is your ability for your slashing attacks to break slashing defense.
Blunt Armour Penetration is your ability for your blunt attacks such as kicks and shield bashes to break slashing defense.
Piercing Defense is your ability to defend against piercing attacks, reducing damage.
Slashing Defense is your ability to defend against slashing attack, reducing damage.
Blunt Defense is your ability to defend against blunt attacks, reducing damage.
